Medication Labels are Important.

  • Medication labels:
    • Tell you the name of the medication.
    • Say when and how to take your medication.
    • Say where your medication is from.
    • Identify your doctor.

Medication labels also list:

  • The person who is to receive the medication.
  • If you can get a refill.
  • A medication code.
  • The date the medication was ordered.
  • The expiration date.
